At the heart of every great sporting day lies the joy of food shared among friends. That’s why Hughes & Co Sporting offers access to a handpicked roster of private speciality chefs, each capable of transforming an estate kitchen, riverside firepit, or candlelit banquet into a moment of culinary magic.

Our chefs come from Michelin-starred kitchens, luxury hotels, private estates, and exclusive overseas venues. Their styles vary, classic British game cookery, Spanish-infused wild fare, refined French elegance, or rustic outdoor grilling, but what they share is an ability to tailor every plate to the mood, season, and palate of our guests.

Menus are designed collaboratively with you and your host, incorporating game from the day, locally sourced produce, and rare or premium ingredients upon request. Whether it’s a rugged Highland braise served with wild juniper and creamed roots, or a six-course tasting menu celebrating the flavours of Andalusia, our chefs deliver food that speaks to time, place, and passion.

They can cook in-field, at the lodge, or at formal private events. Hughes & Co Sporting chefs are also available for private instruction, pairing events with our sommeliers, and even travelling internationally for multi-day trips.
