Hughes & Co
Sporting Agency & concierge

From plane to peg and back again.
Experience Rooted in the English Countryside
Over the past decade, Ben Hughes has been instrumental in shaping and developing two of Gloucestershire’s premier private estate shoots, welcoming parties and individual Guns from across the globe in search of challenging birds and the quintessential English driven shooting experience.
As Owner and Director of Hughes & Co., Ben brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in delivering first-class sporting days. Having run multiple estates exclusively within the Cotswolds, he understands every element of a shoot from the ground up, keepering standards, drive design, bird presentation, and the subtle details that define a truly successful day. Beyond the estates he manages, Ben has shot extensively throughout Britain, from Cornwall to the Highlands, giving him a breadth of perspective that few possess. This depth of knowledge ensures clients receive thoughtful guidance, careful estate selection, and a level of service shaped by genuine understanding rather than assumption.
Hughes and co was born from a desire to combine world-class sport with world-class service. Created for those who value experience over extravagance, substance over show. We offer curated access to the finest estates, lodges, and locations across the UK and abroad, with a network of specialists that ensure every detail is taken care of, from loaders and drivers to cigar sommeliers and private chefs.
